I’ve always been drawn to less-travelled routes — from backpacking across Africa and the Far East in my twenties, to family villas in the Mediterranean and spontaneous campervan trips through Europe.
Those journeys taught me something: the trips that stay with you aren’t always the loudest or wildest. They’re the ones that feel real.
Today, I still want adventure.
I just want it with comfort, intention and care.
As an independently minded person, I used to ask myself: why would I delegate my travel planning and booking to someone else?
After all… booking a holiday can take just minutes.
The part we forget is that choosing the right one can take weeks.

I run Marmaladies Travel as an independent travel business, which means you deal directly with me throughout the planning and booking process.
Behind the scenes, I’m supported by The JLT Group, a UK travel host agency that provides professional booking systems, supplier access and the financial protection framework needed to arrange holidays properly.
Your payments are made securely through the approved booking process. I don’t personally hold client money or card details, and financial protection is in place where applicable.
